REV announces Centric renaming to BET HER
“Network Aligns itself with BET Brand”— Cable Bahamas (CBL) announced that it’s official, the first entertainment network targeting black women has renamed from Centric to BET HER. Starting September 25th, the network channel, which can be found on REVTV channel 380 will look a little different. Described as “Her World. Her Way”, the brand refresh brings the network more aligned with its flagship brand BET.
“REV is gladly embracing Centric’s rebranding to BET HER,” says REVTV Product Coordinator M’khel Ferguson. “A huge segment of our subscribers are women between the ages of twenty five to fifty four, which is the channel’s target audience.” Ferguson continued, “We are committed to sourcing content to delight our subscribers and BET Her definitely fits the bill.”
BET HER is described as a channel which “celebrates women, delivering compelling content that reflects, inspires and addresses the unique perspectives of women,” says Ferguson. “We are confident this change in content will be well received.”
Marketing Manager, Melissa Colebrook, reminded REV customers that they can find out more about BET HER along with any programming updates by visiting the company’s website and Facebook pages. “We urge customers to sign up for MyAccount, that way we can ensure you’re the first to hear about any updates and promotions.” Colebrook says, “We have some exciting products about to roll out; you definitely want to update your account information so you don’t miss out.”
The Marketing Manager revealed that the communications giant’s primary focus is to ensure a more customer centric environment. “Our customers come first, plain and simple.
