Cable Bahamas Group helps Bahamas Dragon Boat Festival Make a Splash

The nations leading telecoms provider is outfitting the event with coms technology valued at more than $35K

The Cable Bahamas Group is lending its support to the Inaugural Bahamas Chinese Dragon Boat Race Festival this weekend in more ways than one. The nations leading telecoms provider will be providing in-kind sponsorship for the event in the form of high speed internet connectivity to offer support for all devices related to the event. These services would normally retail at a value of approximately $35,000.

Teams from corporate and community groups have been training for months in hopes of taking home the top prize and the “Dragon Warriors” team sponsored by Cable Bahamas is no exception. The company is looking forward to supporting the group made up of staff from all areas of the company including Aliv CEO Mr. John Gomez.

The festival will be held August 20-21 on Goodman’s Bay from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM on Goodmans Bay and admission is free! People of all ages are encouraged to come out and support their favorite teams and enjoy food, drinks and live entertainment all weekend long.
