Craig Pink: Revolutionizing Connectivity with the Finest Fibre Network in the Region
The Cable Bahamas Group Continues its Committed to Excellence Campaign with a spotlight on its executive team.
Mr. Craig Pink, Head of FTTH (Fibre To The Home) for the Cable Bahamas Group has spent the last few years leading an energetic team of experts as they took on the mammoth task of designing and building out the new Cable Bahamas Fibre Network. During a recent interview Mr. Pink expressed his confidence that this new network will revolutionize the Cable Bahamas network infrastructure and delight the company’s customers.
“Fibre has the ability to give a very reliable, very robust experience to our customers and that’s why it has been such a priority for us. We are confident that in our upcoming fibre rollout we will be uplifting the market and enhancing the services that Cable Bahamas offers.”
Mr. Pink, a native of Jamaica joined the Cable Bahamas Group in 2018 as Director of Network Enterprise Solutions for the Cable Bahamas Business Solutions Division. He boasts a decorated career in technology with more than 20 years experience, having worked in every country within the English-speaking Caribbean. Since having joined the team, Mr. Pink’s role was expanded to oversee the development and deployment of technology to build an unrivaled FTTH network. Mr. Pink says he used the skills acquired during his diverse experiences with technology providers throughout the region to tap in to the resources on his team and build what in his opinion is the most sophisticated fibre network in the Caribbean. “We have actually assembled a very diverse team of persons who are working to bring these technologies and services to market. At the end of this build The Bahamas will have the most advanced telecom infrastructure in the region barring no other jurisdiction.”
Mr. Pink is being featured as part of the Committed to Excellence Campaign, which was designed to highlight and celebrate the diverse group of professionals from various backgrounds, leading the Cable Bahamas Group into the future.
