OWN Joins the REV TV Line-Up
The Oprah Winfrey Network is now available on REV TV
REV is proud to announce that the telecommunications company is the first in The Bahamas to add the Oprah Winfrey Network to its REVTV channel line-up.
The Oprah Winfrey Network, commonly known as OWN is expected to capture market attention with its popular and addictive series and movies.
REV’s Product Development Lead M’khel Ferguson said, “Our subscribers have been long awaiting the availability of the Oprah Winfrey Network and thanks to our longstanding relationship with the Discovery Networks, we have been able to negotiate these rights and be the first Cable Provider in The Bahamas to offer OWN to all of our TV subscribers, at no additional cost.”
OWN has performed particularly well among female viewers, boasting in its repertoire, a number of original series including, “The Have and the Have Nots, Iyanla: Fix My Life”, “Love & Marriage: Huntsville and “Ask Oprah’s All Stars”.
Ferguson added, “Shows on the network such as the ‘The Have and The Have nots’ will premiere on the same day and time as they do in the US and will also be in 100% English. Subscribers are also able to watch them on the go with our REVGO Play app, offering even more entertainment value making this the very best for single and double play customers without TV to upgrade to TRIO.
Tyler Perry’s The Haves and The Have Nots starring John Schneider and Tika Sumpter, portrays the ongoing drama between the wealthy Cryer and Harrington families and the poor Young family. The series also stars Angela Robinson, Renée Lawless, Crystal Fox, Peter Parros, Aaron O’Connell, Tyler Lepley, and Gavin Houston. ‘The Haves and The Have Nots’ is created, written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry and is produced for OWN by Tyler Perry Studios.
IYANLA: FIX MY LIFE – In dramatic new episodes, life coach Iyanla Vanzant works with those whose lives are in chaos, encouraging them to do the work necessary for real change. Through emotional heart-to-heart conversations and a large dose of tough-love, Iyanla helps individuals confront unresolved issues that are causing upheaval in their lives. Coaching her guests, Iyanla gives them the tools to fix their own lives – tools that will help them break the negative patterns that are preventing true happiness.
OWN will be offered at no additional charge to basic cable subscribers. Viewers can find OWN on REVTV Channel 475 as part of the Prime package.
