REV Secures TV One Deal in The Bahamas
“Popular channel now available to REV customers.”
Executives from the communications company, confirmed that popular urban channel TV One, will launch to REV television subscribers on March 1st. “This is part of our ongoing efforts to secure popular content, shared David Burrows, VP Marketing.
TV One is described as a channel that delivers award-winning programming that “showcases the diverse experiences of African American life and culture that is authentic, relatable and real.”
Burrows continued, “We recently announced that there would be ongoing changes with programming that would impact REV and the English speaking Caribbean region. While we have undergone some recent channel changes, we are pleased that our negotiations for TV One have proven successful.” Sharing these views was TV One Content Distribution Manager, Johnny Miles, “We are pleased to offer TV One to the Bahamian community, and look forward to working with our New Affiliate, REV for years to come.”
REV television subscribers can tune to the new channel starting today on channel 366 to see exciting original programming including movies, scripted comedies, reality and docu-series, the best of “classic” popular sitcoms and awards shows like the NAACP Image Awards. Miles confirmed that the channel “was built on the promise to represent Black culture past, present and future — and has something for everyone.”
