Mr. Rory Major, General Manager of Aliv and REV Sales was pleased to introduce the newly appointed Managers of Consumer Sales and Loyalty under his leadership, Mrs. Carmetta Kemp (REV) and Mr. Chase Taylor (Aliv). During a recent interview, he commented on each of his new appointees.

“Carmetta came in as my lead supervisor several years ago. I mentored her for about 3-4 years, and I had the opportunity to prepare her for this new role. I think that she will perform well in this new role and meets the mandates required to hold this position.”

Mrs. Kemp has worked with REV for more than 10 Years in the capacities of sales agent, supervisor and lead supervisor. She has been present during multiple changes in leadership and has learned to adapt and employ various leadership styles. She credits her diverse experiences in multiple roles and her working relationship with Mr. Major with preparing her for her current role.

Mr. Chase Taylor says that he knew that joining the Aliv team in 2017 would be a major turning point in his life. “It was an exciting time for me. I knew that it was a significant moment that would transform the way that I interact with the public. I knew that something great was coming.”

The recent career advancements within the REV sales team have also extended to several women in the group. Ms. Christine Williams was promoted to Assistant Manager of Consumer Sales and Loyalty for REV and Ms. Paige Anderson was promoted to Consumer Sales and Loyalty Supervisor for REV. The REV sales team also introduced new team leads, namely Shanique Lightbourne and Lavelle Ash.

These recent promotions speak to the rate at which women are excelling and finding themselves in positions of leadership within the Cable Bahamas Group. Earlier this year the company launched a Women in Leadership campaign celebrating 11 women in the company serving at the highest levels of leadership. They also introduced the High Heels in High Places Mentorship Program with the hope of cultivating the leadership skills at women in every level of the business, which the company has identified as a key priority moving forward.”
